PATools Support All our public software is offered as shareware which we believe is a fair basis - try before you buy. You can download and try out a fully functional copy of our software subject only to some restrictions on how much you can use it, and then if you find it suits your needs, you can remove those restrictions by purchasing a license. In order to help you get the most from our software we offer detailed support through this section of our website, and if you cannot find your answer here, then we offer support by email from our Contact page. You should note that PATools is a small organisation serving a global market, and since you can try out fully functional software with help files before buying, we only offer shareware support on our website and by email. Click below for detailed support and trouble-shooting for: Submit your comments We welcome feedback, recommendations for improvements or additional functionality, or even ideas for new software, so please contact us with your ideas or comments. We cannot promise to act on every suggestion, but they are all reviewed. A bug? All PATools public software is in daily use and has been thoroughly tested. However, as in any software, it is impossible to test for every eventuality, and it is just possible that there may be the occasional bug. In the unlikely event that you should find one please complete our contact form. Annual licensing Some users have asked why we operate annual licensing? The answer is simply that we require a continual revenue stream to ensure continued product development of new and existing software. Whilst our customer base is always growing, annual licensing helps produce a steady stream of income. Another benefit is it helps prevent software fraud since the licenses only have limited validity. One other advantage is that it helps ensure that customers visit our site at regular intervals, and are thereby encouraged to upgrade to the latest release. Finally, in pricing our products, we allow for the annual licensing by offering the annual licenses for less than lifetime licenses.
